Let’s Restore Trust and Opportunity in Indiana

Hoosiers deserve a government as honest and hardworking as they are. As Secretary of State, I’ll protect the freedom to vote, modernize outdated systems, and restore integrity to an office too often marked by corruption. Together, we can make Indiana a place where every voice counts and every community has the chance to thrive.

Protect Hoosiers’ Data and Privacy

Your government should protect your personal and business information, not sell it. I’ll fight to ban the sale of state-held data and strengthen cybersecurity for our election and business systems. Protecting Hoosiers’ privacy isn’t something that should be optional, it’s part of earning back your trust.

Support Small Businesses and Entrepreneurs

Small businesses are the backbone of our economy, and as someone who built and runs my own, I know how important it is to cut through red tape and create fair opportunities. I’ll modernize the InBiz system to make it simpler and more user-friendly, while helping veterans, women, and immigrant entrepreneurs access the resources they need to thrive.

Fight Voter Suppression and Protect Access

Every eligible Hoosier should be able to vote freely, fairly, and without barriers. I’ll end last-minute voter purges, improve communication about registration deadlines, and strengthen protections for absentee and military voters. Our elections can be both secure and accessible. That’s not a trade-off, it’s a responsibility.

Modernize Outdated State Systems

As a small business owner, I’ve seen firsthand how confusing and outdated Indiana’s systems can be. I’ll streamline services through a modern, one-stop portal for business registration, licensing, and filings, cutting through the red tape that holds Hoosiers back. Government should make it easier to start and grow a business, not harder.

Increase Voter Turnout and Civic Engagement

Indiana ranks near the bottom in voter participation, and that has to change. I’ll work with county clerks to boost turnout through better communication, outreach, and education. I want to create state-funded voter handbooks before each election, with clear, nonpartisan information about polling places, candidates, and ballot initiatives so every Hoosier has the tools to make an informed decision.

What’s partisan about making sure that legal voters should be voting or about increasing voter participation?

Voting isn’t a Republican or Democratic issue — it’s a fundamental right, and I’ll protect it.

Restore Ethics and Transparency

The Secretary of State’s Office should set the standard for transparency and accountability, not be the source of scandal. I’ll end no-bid contracts, ban nepotism in hiring, and stop taxpayer-funded luxury travel. I’ll also work to create a public transparency portal so Hoosiers can easily see how their government is spending their money. On Day One, I’ll call for an independent audit of the Secretary of State’s Office. I’ll work with the governor, I’ll work with whoever I need to, of any political party. It’s time we clean up this mess and make sure our Secretary of State's office is trusted again... and maybe a bit boring again too!

Empower Hoosiers with Citizen-Led Ballot Initiatives

Right now, Indiana doesn’t allow citizens to propose ballot measures or constitutional changes. I believe that needs to change. As Secretary of State, I can’t change that by myself, but I can lead the work to get us there and make sure Hoosiers drive the conversation. I’ll bring together lawmakers, county clerks, civic groups, and constitutional experts to study how citizen-led initiatives work in other states and draft a transparent, Indiana-based plan for reform. Through public town halls and an open public report, I’ll ensure every Hoosier can see and shape the path forward. The process to create a citizen-initiative system would require a constitutional amendment, a high bar, but not an impossible one, and I’ll use this office to build the bipartisan support and public understanding needed to make it real.
